What to Expect When You Book With Me
When you book with me, you’re not just getting a photographer, you’re getting someone who genuinely cares about creating images that feel like you. I bring a calm, friendly energy to every shoot, making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and at ease from the moment we start. You can expect a relaxed yet professional experience, clear communication, and high-quality images delivered within a reasonable timeframe. Whether it's your first shoot or your fiftieth, you’re in safe, capable hands, and we’ll have a bit of fun along the way too.
How to prepare for the day
Get a good night’s sleep, stay hydrated, and come feeling your best. Choose outfits that make you feel confident and reflect your style or the look you’re going for (feel free to bring a couple of options). If it’s a headshot or portrait session, keep grooming natural and neat, nothing too different from your everyday look unless that’s what you’re going for. Most importantly, don’t stress. I’ll guide you through the process, help with posing, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way. Just show up as yourself, I’ll take care of the rest.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Being in front of the camera can be a daunting task, but I’ll guide you through the whole process, from what to wear to how to pose. The shoot is relaxed, and we’ll work together to get the best shots. I'll send you a quick guide before your shoot so you know what to expect and that there are no surprises. You don’t need any experience, just bring your personality and I’ll take care of the rest.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
I am happy to travel within the central Auckland area (including Mt Eden, Parnell, Ponsonby Mt Roskill, Mt Albert, Remuera, and Greenlane. However anywhere outside of this I would charge $1 per KM.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Of course I can recommend some good locations. As a photographer I am always on the hunt for new and exciting locations to photograph from.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather isn’t cooperating, we can either reschedule or move to an indoor location if one is available. I always keep an eye on the forecast and will check in with you the day before to confirm or make any changes. Your comfort and the quality of the shoot come first.
